My story
My interest in health and nutrition started with my own health problems.
In my early thirties, I was dealing with constant digestive issues — bloating, constipation, food sensitivities, lactose intolerance, and IBS. I tried everything: vegan diets, elimination plans, cleanses… nothing helped for long.
Eventually, it all became too much. I started to fear food because everything seemed to hurt. I’d avoid social situations just to stay in control. My days began to revolve around how my gut would react to what I ate.
That’s when I realised I needed to find my own solutions — conventional medicine gave me a diagnosis but fell short when it came to real, lasting treatment.
I completed my first certification as a Nutrition and Health Coach. That’s when I began to understand that nutrition is essential—but just one piece of a bigger puzzle—and I became familiar with the concept of holistic health. I also started to see how much stress, sleep, movement, and mindset play a role.
As I kept learning, I wanted to go deeper into the root causes of digestive issues. I completed a Certificate in Gut Health from the School of Applied Functional Medicine, along with a Low FODMAP Diet Certification from Monash University—so I could better support people with sensitive digestion and IBS, just like me.
Bit by bit, things improved. I now feel great — more balanced and in tune with my body than ever before. It takes time, consistency, and the right support, but with the right guidance, you can get there too.
